We collaborated with Slightly — a SaaS platform that helps users reduce screen time on attention-grabbing apps like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram — to design a custom NFC-enabled case that adds a physical layer of friction before app access.

The product combines a distinctive, brand-aligned magnetic enclosure with an embedded NFC chip. Users must scan the device and complete a checklist in the app before unlocking specific apps, reinforcing healthy screen habits. We handled the full design, prototyping, and fabrication of the unit, creating a seamless bridge between physical interaction and digital discipline.
