Max Planck
A German Lab at the Heart of Scientific Research

Standardized Design.
Impactful Visuals.
This project began with a unique request: consulting on the choice of a 3D modeling software.
What started as a simple advisory role quickly revealed a deeper need—for precise, adaptable 3D design capabilities. That’s when TridimLab stepped in.
The challenge was clear: for certain research operations, custom machines are essential. These machines are often built using standardized, modular components. Our task was to design and assemble these components into a fully functional, tailored setup, aligned with the lab’s specific research goals.
Beyond the design, we delivered high-quality 3D renders to aid in visualization and communication—crucial for collaborative work in a high-stakes scientific environment.
This project is a strong example of how thoughtful design and visualization can accelerate innovation, even in the most technical and regulated of fields.
The success of this collaboration led to a published scientific article, highlighting the machine's design and its role in the research : https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2025.04.01.646316v1
